ANALYSIS OF THE STUDY OF LANGUAGE POLICE IN STUDENT AND TEACHER INTERACTION AT MAN 1 PADANGSIDIMPUAN

Abstract

Study This motivated by the phenomenon use language by students who are still influenced by language region and language sociable, so sometimes No in accordance with principle politeness language. However, the results observation beginning show that part big student class X IIS 2 at MAN 1 Padangsidimpuan has make an effort use good and polite Indonesian​ in interaction in class, both with teachers and Friend peers. Research This use approach qualitative with method descriptive. Subject study consists of over 35 students class X IIS 2 and an eye teacher Indonesian language lessons. Data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through three stages that is data reduction, data presentation, and withdrawal conclusion with tested validity​ through data triangulation. Research results show that in a way general student class X IIS 2 has show level politeness good language skills. Students capable adapt use polite language​ when interact with the teacher, while the teacher plays a role important in guide and lead by example politeness speaking in class. The language strategies used by teachers include politeness strategies positive (positive politeness) and continuous strategy bald on record, especially moment give instructions or command. While that, students more often using politeness strategies positive and politeness strategies negative (negative politeness). Factors that influence politeness speaking divided into two, namely internal factors and external factors external. Internal factors include personality, habits family, level maturity, condition psychological and motivational personal.
