Abstract

The first precept of Pancasila, namely "The One Godhead", is not only related to beliefs and the implementation of worship, but also contains important values in building mutual respect in the midst of religious diversity. This mini research aims to find out the application of the value of the One Godhead in increasing tolerance between religious communities, especially in the lives of students who have different religious backgrounds. The activity was carried out in the mosque of the State University of Medan (UNIMED) by providing an explanation of the meaning of the One Godhead and examples of its application in daily life. Posters are used as a medium to convey material so that information is easier to understand and attract the attention of students. The results of the mini research show that the application of the First Precept can be realized through mutual respect, giving opportunities to others to carry out worship, not imposing beliefs, maintaining words, and maintaining social relationships regardless of religious background. The application of this attitude can help create a harmonious campus environment and respect diversity. Thus, the value of the One Godhead can be applied not only through human relationships with God, but also through good relationships with fellow humans
